Our Mission: Each year about 680,000 dogs are euthanized in shelters across the US.
Our mission is to save dogs that are abused, neglected, or discarded. Most of the dogs we save are in KILL shelters, facing euthanasia due to no fault of their own. These dogs are most times, young, healthy and good dogs who deserve a second chance. We are an all-inclusive, foster-based, 501(c)(3) dog rescue and strive to find the best home possible for each dog we save. We believe each and every dog deserves a fighting chance and a family of their own. We wish to give these dogs and our adopters many happy and fulfilling years with each other!
Rescue is not easy or cheap. We are a non-profit organization that is 100% volunteer run. The founders of Paws Rescue League are extremely passionate about dog rescue and have worked with multiple rescues over the course of many years. We started our own rescue because we wanted to do more to help save dogs and to ensure that all our volunteers share the same goals and values when it comes to our canine companions.
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, fostering, volunteering, or donating, you can find more information through our site.

Donations go a long way...
These are some of the many ways our donations are used. All dogs are in need of help- every dollar counts! Donations are a big part of rescue, and these dogs need you.
If you are interested in rescuing a dog, please consider donating!
Interested in fostering a rescue dog?
We are currently in need of fosters in east TN and around New England! We can provide donated food and supplies to take care of your foster. We are registered as a 501(c)(3) charity organization with the IRS, so any items you personally purchase are tax deductible! FOSTERING SAVES LIVES! We CAN NOT save dogs without fosters. Not only are you saving your foster dog's life, you are opening a spot in the shelter for another dog to have a chance at being rescued! Click the button below for more information on fostering! |
Interested in Donating?
Donations are essential to our rescue. We rely on donations in order to pay for vetting, vaccinations, medication, food, transport, and anything a rescue dog needs to get to their forever homes. Donations NEVER go unnoticed and every little bit helps. We accept monetary donations as well as new/used pet items. Any items we aren't able to use ourselves, we pay it forward and donate to other canine/feline rescues and/or non profit orgs that help dogs and cats! Please consider making a donation to help us save lives! We are registered as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit charitable organization. All donations made are tax deductible! |
